Daljit Singh


Daljit Singh is the President, Fortis Healthcare (India) Limited (FHIL). He has over three decades of rich management experience, with a proven track record of turning around and growing diverse businesses through people leadership, innovation and operational excellence. He has successfully built and led teams to deliver performance, planned and executed culture change programs and managed restructuring of businesses.

Prior to his current role, Mr Singh has held the office of the Chief Executive Officer of FHIL till Nov06

Before joining FHIL, Mr Singh was the Executive Director in charge of Human Resources, Manufacturing, External Relations and Communications with ICI India Limited. During his 28-year innings with the Indian subsidiary of the British Multinational, Mr Singh held several senior management positions, including profit center responsibilities for Pharmaceuticals, Specialties and Catalyst businesses and as a member of the Board of Directors of ICI India. He was member of the ICI Global Manufacturing Group, SSHE Excellence Group and the Global HR Forum. His key experience and achievements have been in the areas of developing progressive HR strategies and ensuring their implementation, organizational restructuring, building a high performance culture and leading teams to deliver business value.

Mr Singh is a trained Executive Coach, working with Senior Management to enhance personal performance and fulfillment. He also leads and facilitates workshops on Strategy & Leadership.

A gold medalist from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and Mr. Singh was a Commonwealth Scholar to the Senior Management Programme at the Manchester Business School in 1995. With an outstanding track record in the field of athletics, his current interests include athletics, high altitude trekking, adventure sports, music and reading.

Harish Natarajan


Harish is Managing Director India and SE at Bausch + Lomb. Previous to this tenure he had led teams in various management capacities at Baxter Healthcare, Pepsi and ICI Paints. Harish managed Baxter operations at Philippines before his current tenure. Harish is passionate about contributing to the Healthcare sector of India and is instrumental in recently launching the pharmaceutical business for Bausch + Lomb in India.

Kakul Misra, Director and CBO


A qualified statistician and Masters in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Kakul is director and Chief Business Officer of Navkar . She has wide experience in working with various donors, international agencies, governments and corporates. She is a great believer in empowerment for action and has expertise in establishing large scale innovative development projects through successful business partnerships. Kakul has steered flagships projects in domains of ‘Peer Education’, ‘Service Excellence’, ‘Teacher Capacity Building’ and ‘Behaviour Change Communication’, supporting private & public agencies in India and South East Asia. She has been at the helm of business strategy for large business houses such as Reliance, Bharti and Tata Teleservices. Navkar is genesis of her dream to contribute to empowerment of Indian youth with the added benefit of expanding Healthcare Service Delivery across the depth of the country.

Rajat Rakheja, Director and COO


A qualified engineer from IIT Delhi and Masters in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Rajat is Director & COO of Navkar. He has rich experience of leading operations for core industry players from Paints, IT & Telecom sector. He is passionate about human& organizational development and shifted to the L&D industry apply best practices from his rich portfolio. In keeping with his passion, he invested in his own development as a certified Executive Coach and NLP & Gestalt therapist. A true people person, Rajat has rendered operational leadership to set up pan India channels distributing paints to education products. He has led training operations for large business houses such as Reliance and Bharti. An early entrant to the Indian Vocational Skill Industry, he led national operations for Workskills India and also represented India as a delegate in the Indo German Skill Forum. Navkar is a genesis of Rajat’s entrepreneurship dream to shape the Indian Skill story with a sustainable business model, while creating an entity known for ‘people Likometer’!

Navin Bhatia, Managing Director


A qualified Marine Engineer and Masters in Business Administration, Navin is the Managing Director of Navkar. He is recognized as a thought leader in the Indian Skills Sector and is a regular speaker at various forums such as CII, FICCI, World Bank, NHRD, TiE etc. He has been associated with the Indian skills story since inception and is part of the CII skill forum and World Bank skill club. He has been instrumental in shaping the Government Skill development space for implementation by private sector and has contributed in creation of National Skill Development Policy 2009, IRDA Learning framework for insurance in 1999-2000 and Training Policy, Govt of India 1998-99. In recognition to his contribution in creating India as a global benchmark for the Skills domain, a section is dedicated to him where his thoughts have been shared in the book “Internationalist- Masters of the Global Game” by Cathy Scherer. He has worked in the corporate sector, post his maritime, for over 18 years forming 4 specialized Corporate training and Skill Development companies with global scale and standards – NIS Sparta, Reliance – NIS Academy, Bharti Airtel Services Ltd, Bharti Learning Ltd., each a benchmark in training, skill development, manpower management services. He has worked tirelessly to create an army of skilled trainers for the Indian sub-continent and Africa, contributing to business and individual development across industries. He was Director on the Board of Workskills India Ltd (WSI), the first PPP (Public Private Partnership) company in the Skills space which is a JV between Bharti Enterprise & National Skills Development Corporation (under the aegis of Govt of India). He is a believer in partnerships for inclusive growth and success through people empowerment. Navkar is the genesis of his dream to contribute to Nation Building and fight the new age terrorism caused due to unemployment.

Veenu Jaichand, Director and CEO


A qualified engineer Veenu is director & CEO of Navkar. She has been one of the founding members of organized Learning & Development industry of India, with an association of about 20 years working with diverse learning organizations of India and South East Asia. She has pioneered learning models such as ‘Role Based Learning’, ‘On the Job Coaching’, ‘Corporate University Architecture’ etc. and proven their field impact across industries of Telecom, FMCG, Financial Services etc. She is a great believer of team work and leveraging human potential. A winner of Brandon Hall Excellence in e-Learning awards of South East Asia, she has demonstrated benefits of execution excellence across business of Skills for Livelihood or Customer Service in cut throat Telecom industry. She has been a regular speaker on ‘Leadership & Quality’ at many forums. She was the COO of the first Joint Venture Company of NSDC and Bharti, wherein she gave shape to the plan for skilling of 1.2 Million Indian Youth. Navkar is a genesis of her dream to contribute to Indian Skill Story with the field impact resulting in employment for lakhs of youth.
